Ah, where to start!
I guess..of course, I’ll start with the obvious. I had a baby. A furry one, weighing in at 5.93 hefty pounds. We named our newest member of the family Murfuhletta, Murphy for short.
I had been pestering Charlie for a new little brother for a little while, being that Ozzy loves having playmates over, but like the sensible man Charlie is, he was resisting my charm and put the kibosh on that idea.
Until one fateful day, when I had checked the website Murph was listed on (same one where we got Oz) and lo and behold, I saw this face still staring back at me..
ohhhh boy, hes a cutie! So I text Charlie, “our little murph is still there..” expecting him to say, “shut UP already!” only..he didnt. infact, he said nothing, for hours and hours. I figured he was really going to give it to me when I got home. Until he finally responded with, “well make the appointment then.” O.O
O.O
O.O
That was my face, naturally. Then I squealed excitedly and made the appointment. And then we were off!
I had second thoughts about bringing Ozzy with us on the hour and a half ride because i thought for sure he would be the wild man he usually is around other dogs. but on the contrary, Oz was a little gentleman. Even protecting his mama from this strange, new little boy.
The were both pretty pooped, but when we got home they had some time to sniff each others rumps like normal little boys so that was nice. Unfortunately, Charlie and I had a wedding to go to as soon as we got home, so we were sure to high tail it outta there after the first two songs to play with our new son
So they have been getting along really well, sometimes a little too well when theyre playing and things get a little bit out of hand, but that will come once Murph Man learns his boundaries..and his puppy class starts on the 12th, hes pretty excited about that I know it.
The best part is when they’re nice and calm, sitting together in the grass or peeking out the window together. Ah, the calm before the storm. I’m looking forward to more times like that as they get older..as well as lots of play time together in the yard once Murph gets a little bigger. The breeder said he would actually get closer to 30 pounds..(Oz is 22 lbs) but who knows..hes still smaller than Ozzy was at this age..time will tell! be prepared to be bombarded with adorable pictures in 3…2….1…go!

Am i crazy? perhaps. Am i stressed? most definitely. but how could i resist those two faces together?! just thinking about the fun they’re going to have the love they will bring to our lives together is reason enough to scoop up that lil bro for oz.

Ruff. Ruff. Ruff! If you are a crazy dog lady, then I am a crazy cat lady.
Murphy is SOOO adorable. I love the expression on his face!!!
Hehehe….funny.
i know! hes such a little goober, its hilarious. ill have to take some video of him running..its even cuter, if thats possible.
How adorable! Do they have their own little boy room?
they pretty much have decided that the whole house is their little boy room
but charlie was going to make a couple of “murphy beds” one of the spare rooms for the boys…hahaha
Congrats again, Mother of 2!
Gunner read the blog the other day and would really like to meet his…cousins? Not sure how that works – but he likes to run and play and look cute too…he’s a little nervous about his size though! Are they welcoming towards others? ;0)
***That right there — Crazy Dog Lady! When you start imagining what your dog is thinking in people terms — oh brother! Can’t wait to meet them!!!
